NOAA, the U. S. government agency that produces the very accurate hurricane path forecasts, has just released a model showing the areas most probably affected by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. As shown in the chart below, the outlook is grim for southeast Florida.
Especially disconcerting is that the model was released the day before a 3-day holiday weekend when people are less likely to be following the news.
