Just as a reminder, I will be doing an 8 hour workshop for the Pino Entrepreneurship Center at FIU on Wednesday, February 2. The workshop focuses on how to develop a business model and uses the 5-step process described in my book. Workshop details are here. Proceeds go to the Pino Center.
The best description of how I do workshops is captured in this quote:
"Bob's style is that of a practitioner, with over 30 years of stories and cases from around the world to illustrate his points. In a practical, usable way he combines academic theory and industry practice in cohesive, step-by-step methods to solve the common problems of startups and high growth companies."
Despite the title--How to Write a Killer Business Plan--the workshop is not about how to write a business plan. I have written hundreds of business plans and I think this description from Sequoia Capital summarizes the requirements well. Sequoia is one of the premier venture capital firms in the world.
