Good design is something that has always interested me and I particularly enjoy blogs on design. Design gives one insight into customer experience, a subject where I am constantly looking for greater understanding.
Consistent with good design is the concept of elegance. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines elegance as "dignified gracefulness or restrained beauty of style". This is a helpful definition but perhaps not practical, as in difficult to apply. In the blog Pursuit of Elegance Matt May defines elegance as "...one that achieves the maximum effect through the minimum means". Inherent in elegance is the notion of simplicity.
