I have had some experience with helicopters in operations with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. The CG pilots can do amazing things with their helos, but the photo below takes amazing to a new level.
This photo of a helo rescue mission was taken by a soldier in Afghanistan . The pilot is a Pennsylvania National Guardsman who flies EMS choppers in civilian life. How many people on the planet could set the back end of a helo down on the roof of a shack, on a steep mountain cliff, and hold it there while soldiers load wounded men in the rear.
God Bless America!
