Bob provided strategy consulting for 10 years to Japanese Fortune 500 companies, including Marubeni Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, Daiei, Fujitsu, Nisho Iwai, and UNY. He began his career as a lending officer with Chase Manhattan Bank serving public sector and private companies in Latin America.
He has wide ranging industry experience, including telecommunications, Internet, networking, retailing, fashion & beauty, printing and business services. He has worked extensively in Asia and Latin America and speaks fluent Spanish.
As an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University (FIU), Bob teaches courses in small business management and entrepreneurship and is a frequent speaker on the preparation of business plans at the Eugenio Pino & Family Global Entrepreneurship Center at FIU. He earned a Masters of Business Administration in Finance with Honors from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Hamilton College.
